We are Resource Efficiency Wales (REW) working for over twenty years with a majority of local authorities in Wales.
We support them in working collaboratively on regional waste projects, mainly recycling and reuse contracts. Together we share technical knowledge and skills, achieve environmental and economic efficiency savings and growth in social value in waste activities.
The Repair Directory is a direct outcome of the collaborative work between REW and Welsh local authorities. REW developed, maintains and updates the Repair Directory on behalf of Welsh local authorities.
The local authorities benefiting from REW services are known as
the Collaborating Local Authorities in Resource Efficiency Wales or CLAIRE Wales Group.
