The Restart Project

The Restart Project is a people-powered social enterprise based in London that aims to fix our relationship with electronics.

They run regular Restart Parties where people teach each other how to repair their broken and slow devices – from tablets to toasters, from iPhones to headphones. They work with schools and organisations to help them value and use their electronics for longer. And they use the data and stories they collect to help demand better, more sustainable electronics for all.

They run a repair directory in London, focusing on repairers of electrical and electronic products. The Welsh directory makes use of the same software developed by The Restart Project. They also advised REW on data collection, data quality and communication.
